Dr. Mark Ottenweller is returning to Africa to train the new staff, reconnect with the volunteers there and help once again in the fight against AIDS in Africa.
You can follow his trip by reading his blog.
Dr. Mark spent 18 years in Africa establishing AIDS clinics and working with the sick. Now, he returns to Africa to continue that work and to give us a peek into the reality of the disease's impact in Africa.

He has already written two entries. Here is just a sample of his insight:
"The clinic sees more and more patients with fewer and fewer donors and less and less money to help them. It’s challenging and inspiring - all at the same time. The HOPE worldwide staff hasn’t been paid and salaries have been cut but they continue to serve. All I hear about are needs of desperate patients and 'How will we help him? or her? or them?'"
